Brian and I meet privately 3 times a week for strength training, swimming and subsequent cardio sessions which often last more than 2 1/2 hours. Since April, Brian has entered and finished 3 sprint and 2 olympic distance triathlons. He has his sights set on at least 3 more triathlons this season, including a ½ Ironman, then the Hotter N' Hell 100 and then White Rock Marathon. Beware: "The Strong Arm" is getting stronger!
He has completed more than 35 triathlons, even placing as high as top 5 in his age group on various occasions. On November of '07 Bryan completed The Ford Ironman Florida Triathlon in 10 hours and 42 minutes, 90 minutes faster than his Ironman debut two years ago.
Bryan and I bumped into each other when a new Lifetime Fitness
opened in Plano. After just a few private lessons and about 2
months of group Masters Swimming, Bryan's swim times dipped
dramatically. Within another 6 months he dropped his 100-meter best
from 1:42 to 1:15, thus earning the moniker "Tarzan".
I have coached 100s of novice to intermediate adult swimmers,
and Bryan accomplishment and the speed in which he did it rank in the
top 5 of all time. Keep up the good work Tarzan!
"Scott is the Guru of Swim. I have been swimming with Scott for a
year now and with his focused training and encouragement he has helped
me to swim faster than I ever imagined. I have taken almost 7 minutes
off of my Half- Ironman swims. I recommend Scott to anyone who wants
to reach a new level of success!" Bryan Williams, Frisco, TX
