Brian and I meet privately 3 times a week for strength training, swimming and subsequent cardio sessions which often last more than 2 1/2 hours. Since April, Brian has entered and finished 3 sprint and 2 olympic distance triathlons. He has his sights set on at least 3 more triathlons this season, including a ½ Ironman, then the Hotter N' Hell 100 and then White Rock Marathon. Beware: "The Strong Arm" is getting stronger!
At the tender age of seven, young Emma has already accomplished a
decent mastery of all four competitive swimming strokes, excelling
in the backstroke and freestyle. Due to discipline instilled from her
studies, ballet and horseback riding Emma is very quick to pick up
technical coaching, very rare of someone her age. If Emma chooses to
continue to work at swimming, by as early as next year she should be a
very excellent age-group competitor.
Why does Emma like swimming? "I’m able to glide through the water
and it is peaceful to me. I like to be able to get exercise and feel
relaxed after a swim session."

In her free time Emma also enjoys jump rope, read, think up stories to
write, roller skate, ride horses, dance, and of course swim.
"I like working with Mr. Scott because he understand exactly what level
I am at. He gives me just the right amount of work. I like how he gives a
time goal in swimming and I usually beat it! Mr. Scott gives me confidence
that I can do new techniques. I like Mr. Scott as my swim coach!"
