I was nearly 40 years old last year when my daughter was born. I weighed almost 330 pounds and was well on the way to serious health complications that follow from obesity and a completely sedentary lifestyle. [Scott] started me on a basic program of nutrition and basic movements designed to restore some level of function to my totally dysfunctional body. So far, in 15 months I have gone from almost 330 pounds to 240, my waist size has gone from a size 50 to a size 38. Thanks Scott!

Born and breed the shadows of Washington D.C. Stephanie
Bassin interest in sports started at an early age.
In her bedroom community of Bethesda, Maryland
she participated in gymnastics, spent endless hour
on her backyard trampoline , was on swim teams,
played softball and body-surfed on the Atlantic
coast.
All of that was excellent preparation for her adult
sports life. After her two daughters were born,
in her late 20’s and early 30’s Stephanie was a
fixture in the D.C. area triathlon scene, often
a top age group competitor.
As a busy dentist and a mother, she juggled family,
work, and working out. Eventually, commitments
and other issues lead her to get off track a bit
and stop working out for more than 5 years.
Stephanie only started training in March of '06 and just concluded her 1st full year of racing. In 2007 Stephanie has consistantly placed in the top 5 overall in her sprint and Olympic distance triathlons. Her bike splits have often been #1 of all female racers. She is spending this winter getting stronger and working on her run in preparation for racing sprints, Olympic's and even a half-iron (or two) distance in 08. Here goal is to qualify for nationals and world's in her new 50-54 category and to races at the half-ironman championships in Clearwater in November.
